2. Intimacy of soul calls us. Human beings, even strangers, recognize each other in the context of a    spiritual setting.

  • Bill Rolph’s and Joe Scott’s guidance led the community to build a much more intimate circle than in many previous years. As if working to reinforce the need for this contact, the National Park Service informed us that we were not permitted to use steel bars for delineating the Sacred Peace Village. The edges of our circle were thus softer and more inviting of a flow in and out.

  • Sultan Kibrisi and his community brought Sufi traditions and shared evening Zikir ceremony, inviting in his Native American brother Clyde Bellecourt and everyone present to join in the intimacy of spiritual joy.

  • The spiritual healing light of jyorei is offered by Shumei members, a Shinto-based spiritual organization dedicated to art and beauty, Natural Agriculture, and spiritual healing called jyorei.
