1.       Bring donated items

a.       To the Mall to the site, located just immediately southeast of the Washington Monument, off 15^th Street and Constitution Ave, NW, Friday September 17^th; or

b.       Drop them off at the home of Bill Rolph at 901 South Randolph Street, Arlington VA 22204 ahead of time; or   

c.       Bring them to the Mall site to the Information Booth, when you come Saturday the 18^th or Sunday the 19^th.

 

2.       For items you want returned, be sure you have clearly marked all items with your name and telephone number with a sharpie or other waterproof pen.  You will be contacted to arrange for the return of your property.

 

There will be security people at the Mall site starting Friday morning to ensure the safety and protection of the site and all equipment.

WE NEED:

• Sweet wood – Apple, Cedar, or Cherry 
• Sweet Grass and Prairie Sage
• Tobacco in pouches
• Cedar cut from Cedar bushes and trees
• Bottle water in liter and gallon containers
• Canopies at least 8 x 8, 8 x 10, or 10 x 10 
• Flashlights and lanterns for use by Security and Elders 
• Rope (hemp or nylon fiber) 1/2” – 5/8” in 100’ or greater lengths to tie secure tipis to ground with weights
• Non-stretch Dacron rope 3/4” in 50 foot lengths to tie & wrap tops of tipis together
